Blackwater & Dengie Youth Football League
Now in their twelfth season, the team are still going strong, playing in Division 1 of the Blackwater and Dengie League for the fourth successive season.
Managed and coached by Lee Verney, a Level 1 FA Licensed Coach with FA Youth Modules 1 & 2, along with a Coerver Youth Diploma, Lee has coached and managed many of the boys in this squad since the age of six.
The team has had great success in its developments over the years. They became double League & League Cup winners at U9’s, League Runners Up at U11’s, League Cup Winners at U12’s; winners of the Stanway Tournament at U12’s & a close third spot in their first season in Div 1 at U15s. The boys have also been winners of the Fair Play & Sportsmanship trophy for seasons 2013-2014 & 2014-2015 & runners up in 2018/2019.

The boys have previously experienced four-week long Center Parc stays and football tours of Holland and Germany, with another planned for May 2020.
Training sessions are held twice weekly on a Friday night 7.30-9 p.m. and Saturday 11.30-1 p.m. in the 4G indoor training Dome at Warriors Rest, Tiptree. All games are played on Sundays either at Warriors Rest or Florence Park, Tiptree.
The team play to a high standard of football, passing from the back with all boys having good technical and ball mastery skills, which are focused and developed on in training.
The team are gratefully sponsored by Courtenay Building Contractors, who sponsor the boys training kits each season.
